Note: All Campus Dining locations are now cashless!
Beyond the six residential dining centers, there are dozens of other dining options on the Syracuse University campus. Quick bites, sit-down dining, concessions, a ski lodge-turned campus pub – it’s all available to students, faculty, staff, and guests. Unless otherwise noted, all locations accept Meal Plan Dining Dollars, ‘CUSE Cash, and credit/debit cards.
Cafes
Great for: Breakfast and lunch, freshly-brewed coffee, sandwiches and snacks
There are 14 cafes on campus, spread between academic buildings. For the most part, they’re open between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and offer a variety of sandwiches, soups, and other quick bites.
Food Halls
Great for: Iced coffee, hearty lunches, local pastries, late-night cravings
Schine Dining (at the Schine Student Center) and Goldstein Food Hall (lower level, Goldstein Student Center) feature a delicious mix of national brands (Panda Express, CoreLife Eatery, Dunkin’) and in-house brands (Tomato Wheel, Greens and Grains), and are open late on weekends.
Table Service Lunch
Great for: Business lunches, enjoying a fancy piece of cheesecake on your lunch hour
A refreshed and remodeled Neporent Café and Dining Room (on the first floor of Dineen Hall) offers table service dining every weekday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Guests visiting the Dining Room during that time will be required to wear business casual dress.
The made-to-order menu includes appetizers, entrees and desserts, all prepared fresh on-site in the café kitchen. Campus Dining executive chef Rick Leonardo crafted the Dining Room’s menu to match many of the items served by Sitrus on the Hill, which closed due to the residential conversion of the Sheraton Hotel in Summer 2024.
Campus Pub
Great for: Happy hour and upscale pub food
The Inn Complete, University’s former ski lodge turned pub has a completely revamped menu featuring made-to-order small bites, handhelds and flatbreads.
Faculty, staff, and students over 21 are invited to visit for Happy Hour, when the pub will offer a rotating selection of wine and beer, plenty of board games and cozy spots to sit by its fireplace. The Inn will open at 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and its kitchen will remain open until 9:30 p.m. each night.
Convenience Stores
Great for: Stocking your kitchen and pantry, grocery and toiletry essentials
There are three convenience stores on campus, stocked with grocery basics and home essentials. Need laundry detergent AND a pint of ice cream? Campus convenience stores have you covered.
Stadium Concessions
Great for: Snacking while cheering on the Orange!
The JMA Wireless Dome has concessions stands every few feet – grab some popcorn, a beer from a local brewery, and a classic Dome Dog before you find your seats. Not all locations are open for every event.
