Planning Your Event
Hosting an event is an exciting experience. Syracuse University Catering is here to ensure your event is successful.
How to plan a catered event:
NOTE: All catering requests must be submitted 12 business days in advance of the event.
Step one: Review the catering event timeline for more information about planning your event.
Step two: Review the Catering Services Policies.
Step three: Create a budget. Use the online order form to start working on a quote. Keep in mind that there are additional costs for:
- Delivery (Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.): $25
- After-Hours Delivery (Monday – Friday, after 5 p.m. and weekends): $50
- Set-up: $30
- Cost per staff member, per event: $120, minimum of four hours per staff member
Approve budget. You must email campuscatering@syr.edu your approved and signed budget before Catering can plan the event.
